Susan (Sue) D’Lauro started as Carmel’s Business Administrator in June, 2025 after a long career in finance with several entities including construction, insurance, and public accounting. She is a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and Eastern University, with a BA in Organizational Management. Always a math person, her whole career has been in accounting. Sue wanted to work part time after retirement and found Carmel's ad for a part-time bookkeeper a perfect fit.
Sue was born in Butler, PA and spent most of her early childhood in Western Pennsylvania. She has lived in Glenside since 1993. She has been married to David for over 30 years. They have two children, Brady, a volunteer fireman with the Glenside Fire Department and studying to become an EMT, and Elizabeth, finishing a PHD in BioChemistry at Drexel. Sue loves spending time with family and doing arts and crafts. Her latest craft interest is pouring resin with her daughter. Their family enjoys time together in the Poconos and recently had an awesome family adventure in Costa Rica. They are huge Philadelphia sports fans, especially the Eagles and the Phillies.
