Welcome to Carmel’s Library! Stop in and see what might interest you and your family!
Our extensive library offers books for all ages, from infants to adults. The library shelves contain books on a wide variety of subjects, both fiction and non-fiction. Religion and faith are of course included. Fiction for adults includes some current best sellers and a number of books by favorite authors. The library’s books for young readers include most winners of the Caldecott Medal and Newbery Medal, awarded annually to best books for children and young adults.
Our Library lends materials to Church members and to persons who attend our services regularly and/or belong to a group that meets regularly at Carmel. We welcome both borrowers and browsers. We are also open to our Weekday Nursery School students and their parents and/or care givers.
The library is open on Sunday mornings before and after Church services. It is also open from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Mondays and Thursdays for the convenience of our Nursery School students.
We have a staff of volunteers and are always in need of additional volunteers. So if you are a lover of books and would like to be a library volunteer, we would love to have you join us.
