Carmel places a flower arrangement in front of the communion table for each Sunday’s worship service. The flowers are always there to glorify God and often memorialize or honor a special person or occasion that is important to the donor. Following worship each Sunday, a Shepherd will deliver the flowers from the worship service to those who are home-bound, recovering from surgery or an illness, mourning the loss of a loved-one or celebrating a wedding or the arrival of a baby. Contact the Church Office if you would like to donate flowers for worship.
In addition donations may be made at Christmas and Easter for memorial flowers to decorate the Sanctuary for the Christmas and Easter worship services. These flowers are also delivered following the services to members of the congregation. Music memorials may be donated at Christmas and Easter toward the provision of special music. Forms for the Christmas and Easter donations are available in the Courier newsletter or from the Church Office.
