Carmel Presbyterian Women

Carmel Presbyterian Women (CPW) consists of two active circles meeting on the third Tuesday evening or the third Wednesday afternoon of each month, September through June, for food, fellowship and Bible study. Our Bible study this year is the book of Hebrews. CPW is supporting our Synod’s mission project, Lily’s Place, in Huntingdon, West Virginia. Lily’s Place provides medical care to infants suffering from pre-natal drug exposure, as well as offering non-judgmental support, education and counseling services to families & caregivers. CPW is a local Days for Girls team, making menstrual kits for distribution to girls in need in Africa. The Tuesday evening circle meets in members’ homes, and the Wednesday afternoon circle meets in our Fellowship Lounge. For more information, please contact our church office at  [email protected]

The work of CPW is guided by the stated Purpose of PC(USA) Presbyterian Women:
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:
• To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study
• To support the mission of the church worldwide
• To work for justice and peace
• To build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God’s Kingdom.

Our organization consists of two active circles meeting on the third Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon, September through June, for Bible study, fellowship, business and second-mile giving to missions.
