There was lots of activity and learning how we can trust Jesus during the five nights of Carmel’s ‘True North; Trusting Jesus in a Wild World’ Vacation Bible School from July 6-10. Carmel Hall was transformed into an Alaska setting, complete with a log cabin, wild animals, water, Northern lights. During the week kids from kdg.- gr. 5 explored the life of Jesus in their own kids’ illustrated Gospel of Matthew and discovered the many ways we can trust Jesus. Lively songs, games, science experiments, and take home snacks added to the fun. Thanks to all the adult and youth volunteers and supportive community families for another great week of VBS, this year in the True North.
