Sunday School

Carmel Presbyterian invites you to join us at 9:30am every Sunday for Sunday School!  We join the adults for worship until “Story Time”, after which we leave and break down into three Sunday School age groups:  Preschoolers (through kindergarten), Early Elementary (1st-3rd grades) and Late Elementary (4th-6th grades).  Our Sunday School Coordinator, Mrs. Connie Tolton, leads a dedicated team of teachers in helping our young community members learn about Christ.

      Carmel’s Sunday School uses two curriculums.  Our Preschool children are currently following Group’s “FaithWeaver” curriculum.  The younger and older elementary groups are experimenting with a new curriculum this year: the “We Believe” curriculum produced out of our PC USA denomination. 

      Throughout the curriculum year, our Sunday School children also learn about the wider liturgical seasons that our congregation and denomination participate in.  This year, we had a “New Years Party” for Christ the King Sunday (the last Sunday of the liturgical church year), and we’re looking forward to learning about and celebrating Epiphany and Transfiguration Sunday in the coming months.
